Eritrea Earns its First medal
in World Championships by Zerisenay
Zerisenay got Silver
medal with a time of 26:50.12 as his first World Championship win in a
highly competitive and extremely fast pace 10k competition at the 12th IAAF
World Championships. It kicked off at 20:50 Berlin Time ON August
17th of 2009.
Kidane
finished 9th with a time of 27:41.50, and Teklemariam finished 12th with a
time of 27:58.89. We are extremely proud of our athletes knowing that they
have and will continue to make their nation proud.
Zerisenay,
Teklemariam and Kidane all got the series best time.
