Three EAAA runners at Stanford Invitational ! breaking three personal records !
Yosef Ghebray, His brother Giliat Ghebray and Neftalem Araia competed this weekend in Stanford Invitational setting a personal record and qualifying time ! Yosef Ghebray dominated the 3000 meters High school competition and won the race by 8 seconds.
Yosef cross the finish line first with a time of 8:21. Stanford athlete, Neftalem Araia set a personal record of 13:44 for the 5000 meters competition finishing 5th place. School record holder for University of California -Berkeley in the 10,000m Giliat Ghebray ran an NCAA qualifying time of 14:04.00, finishing 16th over all. The Stanford Invitational is featuring more than 4,000 collegiate, post-collegiate and high school competitors. Spirit of Excellence is like this !
