Who is coming to EAAA's Event/ Party of Saturday the 23rd of April in DC

Besides the many Eritreans and supporters of EAAA who are coming to EAAA's event/party on 23rd of April in Renaissance Hotel, Honor Guests and EAAA members of other cities will be present.

Giving awards to Eritrean outstanding runners will be Ambassador Girma Asmerom, his deputy Ato Tsehaye Fassil and Dr. Haile Mezghebe. Official invitation was sent to three of them and they have confirmed their presence.

Adhanom Seged, who ran 17 marathons, is heading to DC from Houston Texas; Yonas Abraha, public relations, has reserved his flight and will be in DC on Friday the 22nd of April in the morning hours; Bereket Kiflu has reserved his flight from Jacksonville, Florida to arrive in DC on Friday the 22nd of April in the evening time; Mebrahtu Berhane, Secretary, will drive from North Carolina, Dr. Desale Yacob and Kidane Habtesion will drive from North folk; Nigisti Negusse of Atlanta, who represented Eritrea at world cross country championships in Switzerland and Belgium, will confirm by Wednesday , Meb Kiflezighi, who canceled his London marathon, has not confirmed yet.

One of EAAA's board of adviser from New Orleans, Dr. Taddesse Tewelde,  has planned to come and will confirm by Wednesday.

EAAA members of DC area, board of advisers, and runners for the summer training of Maryland together with caoch Compton Godette will be present.

There are Eritreans  who will be driving long hours to DC from New York, North Carolina, Philadelphia, Baltimore and other Eastern cities.

Door Opens at 7:00pm and PROGRAM STARTS AT SHARP 7:45pm with a Video show and party will follow right after.

Award Ceremony will start at 10:00pm with introduction of EAAA officers, and recognition of the most outstanding Eritrean runners. The awards and plaques for most distinguished contributors for EAAA has been made and will be delivered to the runners and contributors with their short story. EAAA speech will also be delivered. Nine Eritrean Ethnic traditional dresses will bless the dance floor with a Kunama dance and will lead the first Tigrigna dance.

The floor will again be for the people to dance until they get tired.

Time is very much respected and be there on time. EAAA will wait for you since 7:00pm.
